Depart early morning from Arusha or Karatu and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley countryside towards Lake Eyasi . The journey takes approximately 2 hours from Karatu, passing through rural villages and farmland.
Arrive at Lake Eyasi and meet your local community guide who will introduce you to the Hadzabe people . Join the community for a guided bush walk where you'll learn how they read animal tracks, identify wild fruits, collect honey, and use medicinal plants .
Witness a traditional hunting demonstration – the Hadzabe use bows and arrows to hunt game such as dik-diks and small antelopes . You'll also see a fire-making demonstration using natural materials .

After a final lunch at the lake, drive back to Arusha or Karatu with memories of one of Tanzania's most authentic cultural encounters.
